In this week's episode, Coach Russell Lucas shares how the 2W Curriculum is being used in his locker room weekly and the affect it has had on his students. Coach Lucas goes on to describe his focus on building character in his players by teaching them respect, family, and hard work.
Coach Lucas' dedication to establishing a foundation of character goes beyond the locker room with his active involvement in The Playmaker, an event that brings in speakers to share the importance of having integrity, of having a purpose and how that translates to everyday life. He reiterates the importance of asking yourself, "Why do I get up everyday? Why do I do what I do?" If you don't know the answer to your "why" how are you going to be able to get up and do it everyday?
